At the Hydrogen Lab we have our own infrastructure equipped for the evaluation, testing, and electrochemical characterization of medium-power electrochemical systems (up to 50 kW). We offer specialized services to determine the operation, durability, and lifespan of fuel cells and electrolysis cells, combining long-term testing with detailed analysis of the electrochemical response and the behavior of materials and components.
We have a microgrid where fuel cells can be connected and tested for their integration as devices that deliver energy to a grid. This allows us to evaluate the efficiency and performance of this type of equipment.
Specific services:
- Testing and characterization of battery stacks and electrolyzers up to 50 kW.
 - Long-term electrochemical testing to determine service life and durability.
 - Polarization curves to evaluate electrochemical response.
 - Chronoamperometry and chronopotentiometry to study kinetics and stability.
 - Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) to analyze charge transfer processes and phenomena at the electrode-electrolyte interface.
 - Performance and efficiency analysis under real-life operating conditions.
 - Long-term electrochemical testing to determine service life and durability, according to European protocols.
 - Testing and validation of fuel cell integration in electrical power distribution systems.
