Eurecat’s Chemical Technologies Laboratory includes equipment for organic synthesis and polymerisation of monomers, synthesis of nanomaterials and membrane electrodes (MEA), preparation of materials for catalysts, encapsulation of active products, preparation of polymeric membranes, and process scale-up.

We also have equipment for process monitoring and sample characterisation.

We deliver material characterisation services for businesses using a range of spectroscopy, chromatography and microscopy techniques. We also conduct process scale-up tests: e.g. with reactors for the preparation of up to 50 L of dispersions of encapsulated materials by coacervation (simple or complex) or batch, semi-batch and continuous reactors for catalytic testing.

If required, we also have a test rig for hydrogen fuel cells (<2.5 kW) and electrolysers for hydrogen generation.
