Application of high-power ultrasound for treating materials and enhancing manufacturing processes. 

Eurecat’s Ultrasound Laboratory has been set up to deliver services which require the application of high-power ultrasound in manufacturing processes.

Its main role is polymer processing by ultrasonics (ultrasonic moulding, welding, cutting, sonication, etc.).

The laboratory also has the capability to manufacture its own ultrasonic equipment and apply it to all kinds of processes and materials. It consists of ultrasonic generators for industrial use plus the instrumentation required for process measurement and characterisation.
