Material analysis

Eurecat’s Microwave and Plasma Laboratory evaluates high-temperature materials by subjecting them to high temperatures in order to check their resistance, emissions and durability. High temperature is reached by flame without fuel that can distort emissions.

The material is also subjected to microwave fields for the same purpose. A variation is to crush the material and study its behaviour as a powder in plasma flames of different gases.
