Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) fluxomics

Many isotopes of chemical elements can be used for NMR analysis. Our system can use +H for analysis of positional enrichment by proton analysis (PEPA) which detects the position of the carbon label in isotopically enriched metabolites and quantifies the fractional enrichment by indirectly determining peaks of 13 C-satellites by 1D-1 H NMR spectra.

Different metabolic fluxes can be analysed depending on the metabolite used such as amino acids, lipids, tricarboxylic acids and glucose.
