Whole genome short-read sequencing (Illumina)

Whole genome sequencing (WG-Seq) is the process of determining the complete DNA sequence of an organism’s genome. It provides a base-by-base view of all genomic alterations, including single nucleotide variants (SNVs), small insertions and deletions (indels), copy number changes (CNVs) and structural variations (SVs).
