Mechanical tests (tensile, compression, bending, etc.)

Mechanical tests of quasi-static or dynamic force application (tensile, compression, bending, etc.), for quantifying the resistance of materials, devices and machine elements.

We have three units to carry out this type of test: one with high resolution and measuring accuracy (0.1N) and a maximum applicable force of 1kN; a second unit with a higher capacity of 250kN and a maximum stroke of 800mm; and a third unit consisting of a 6×4 metre test bench, hydraulically powered and allowing the performance of tests (normally according to customised assemblies) in which forces (in directions as required) can be applied up to a maximum of 400kN including recording the deformations caused, to study the performance of medium or large assemblies, structures, machines or mechanisms.
