Small RNA sequencing

Small RNA sequencing is a technique for isolating and sequencing small RNA species such as microRNAs (miRNAs). Studying small RNAs makes it possible to examine the expression patterns and tissue-specific isoforms of miRNAs to understand how post-transcriptional regulation contributes to phenotype.
