At Eurecat’s Textile Materials Analysis and Characterisation Laboratory, we determine the thickness or count of the yarn or linear mass by means of length and mass measurement operations to establish their relationship. This operation is carried out by direct measurement of the lengths with a reel and direct weighing of the samples on a scale.
