Charpy Impact Test

Determination of the toughness and brittleness of a material by measuring the value of its resilience.

We determine its impact resistance using the energy supplied by a calibrated pendulum that impacts a specimen horizontally. The study can be performed at two temperatures; room temperature and -20ºC and with or without notch for each item and temperature.
